My journey has been shaped by decades living and sailing across the Pacific Ocean—building communities wherever the waves carried me. I now choose each project with care, seeking opportunities that nourish creativity and reflect shared values.

Outside of carpentry, I’m a local musician, channeling my passion through music—composing, performing, and creating spaces where harmony thrives in every sense.

I do concrete work and Justin called me to bid out a foundation slab. We bid it out start to finish- demo existing, excavation, set up and pour. A couple weeks later he had forms ready to pour! Justin demolished existing, excavated, formed, and did all the set up. For not being a concrete guy, his work was pretty good. Forms and steel work was on point. We came in to pour and finish the work, job came out perfect and it worked out for everyone. I service in Emeryville, Alameda, Berkeley, Oakland and most of East Bay.
I charge $125 an hour and inculude a 10.25% overhead fee added to Labor. I also add a 20% markup on materials that I purchase. Billable hours inculde, consulting, phone calls about your job, shopping for materials, and labor.
No. I no longer service any tenant properties. I only deal with home owners, that are living in the house I will be working on.
No, I’m from Southern California, I have sailed all through the South Pacific on my sailboat and infuse the aloha spirit in to my values and my craftsmanship
Yes. I require 48 hours notice for rescheduling, or cancelation. Otherwise you will be charged $125.
Yes. I have a 2 hour minimum charge.
Yes, I am a licensed General contractor, and fully insured and bonded.
Zelle or Venmo is prefered. If you want to pay with a card, or paypal a 5% charge will be added to the bill to compensate what I am charged.

Meet and greet over the phone or in person to make sure we have shared values. Schedule time to go over the project in person - I offer a complimentary 15 minute consultation to see if we want to work together. After that, my hourly rate is $125. Due to the nature of my small, solo business, as a handyman and general contractor, billable hours include anything in relation to the job, ie. phone consultations, gathering and transporting materials, job walkthroughs and clerical work. There is a 10.25% overhead fee added to labor hours after the job is completed. We collaborate together to come up with efficient solutions and a game plan that is conscious of your budget and is catered to meet your specific needs as a customer. After materials have arrived, we will schedule the work to be done. Once job is completed, you will receive an invoice via email, zelle or venmo payment is preferred. If you want to pay via CC there is a 5% fee.
